A record and reminder tool

RideSet helps you organise bike information and maintenance records. It does not inspect your bicycle, monitor its physical condition or certify that work has been carried out correctly.

A green status, completed checklist, recorded service or absence of an overdue reminder does not establish that a bike is safe to ride. Do not rely on RideSet as a substitute for physical checks, servicing or competent mechanical advice.

Before riding or working on a bike

Check the bike itself, follow the manufacturer's instructions and respond to unusual movement, noise, damage or changes in performance. If you suspect the bike is unsafe, stop using it until it has been assessed and made safe.

Only perform work you are competent and equipped to carry out. Use the correct tools, procedures, compatibility information and manufacturer torque specifications. Seek qualified help where needed.

Records, reminders and notifications

Maintenance status depends on recorded dates, usage, component details and schedules. Incorrect or missing data, upgrades, sync delays, disabled notifications or unavailable services can affect what is shown.

A reminder is an aid to your own maintenance arrangements. RideSet does not promise a warning before every fault or failure.

AI, videos and supplier information

AI suggestions and linked material can be incomplete or refer to a different model or year. Review suggested specifications against your bike and appropriate sources.

A guide can be general, and a shopping-category link does not confirm that a part fits your bike. Check instructions and suitability with the manufacturer or supplier.

Shared history reports

Shared reports contain dated, user-recorded information. RideSet does not independently verify the bike's condition, service quality, ownership, mileage or completeness of its history.

A report is not an inspection, safety certificate, proof of ownership, valuation or compatibility guarantee. Buyers should make their own enquiries and arrange an inspection where appropriate. Sharing does not transfer a bike or its records into another account.
